Job Summary:This position ensures the safe and reliable mechanical operation of lifts, with emphasis on proficiency, instruction, safety, and leadership in all areas of Lift Maintenance. This department is responsible for the safe transport of guests and employees on the mountain. The role is perfect for someone who wants to learn and grow with the department and build a career in the ski industry.Job Specifications:Expected Pay Range: $35.36 - $47.15 / hourShift & Schedule Availability: Full TimeSkill Level: Intermediate, AdvancedJob Responsibilities:Perform preventative maintenance and repair the assigned liftsUtilize technical knowledge, skills, and abilities to optimize equipment downtimeEngages around priorities to foster engagement, collaboration, and resultsBe able to follow safety and risk management policies and proceduresSupports the professional growth and development of employees across all levels of the organization, working closely with Lift OperationsOther duties as assignedJob Requirements:Prior mechanical or electrical experienceMust have or ability to obtain a valid US driver\'s licenseAbility to work efficiently at heightsAble to lift and carry 50 poundsAble to work outdoors in adverse mountain winter weather conditionsMust be willing to work flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, evening shifts, overtime, etc.Intermediate ski/snowboard ability preferredVail Resorts is an equal opportunity employer.
