Key Responsibilities:
Execute all grill and saute station preparations and dishes with accuracy and efficiency.
Follow all
menu specifications

recipes

plating guidelines
precisely.
Cook proteins to exact temperatures and ensure consistent quality.
Maintain proper
station setup
, including prep, stock rotation, and mise en place.
Ensure
food safety and sanitation
standards are upheld at all times, including proper food handling, storage, and labeling.
Clean and sanitize the grill and saute stations before, during, and after each shift.
Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and communicate effectively with front-of-house when needed.
Monitor and report low inventory or equipment issues to management.
Stay calm and organized under pressure while meeting ticket times during busy service hours.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience
in a
professional restaurant kitchen
, ideally in a
steakhouse or high-volume grill setting
.
Solid understanding of
grill temperatures
,
meat cuts
, and
cooking techniques
for beef, poultry, and seafood.
Proven ability to execute
saute station items
, including pan sauces, vegetables, and starches.
Strong working knowledge of

and proper
kitchen sanitation procedures
(ServSafe certification preferred).
Ability to
follow recipes and plating standards
with high attention to detail.
Capable of working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods).
