We are seeking a skilled Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves working with various materials and tools to create structures that meet design specifications. A commitment to safety and quality is essential, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting and operate all hand and power tools safely
Responsibilities
Interpret blueprints and schematics to construct frameworks for buildings, including walls, roofs, and floors.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks as needed for structural integrity.
Engage in restoration projects that require careful attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Install siding and other exterior finishes according to project specifications.
Operate heavy equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high-quality standards.
Conduct regular inspections of work areas for safety hazards and ensure compliance with regulations.
Requirements
Proven experience in carpentry, construction, or a related field.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Familiarity with woodworking techniques and practices.
Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
Experience with concrete forming, finishing, and restoration processes is preferred.
Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
