We are looking for a

creative

and

experienced

Floral Designer to join our team! As new owners, we're excited to reimagine and grow our flower shop into a welcoming, inspiring destination. We're searching for a designer who can not only create stunning arrangements but also help us build, create, and bring the store to life with fresh ideas, inspiring displays, and outstanding customer experiences.

This position is ideal for a designer with at least 3+ years of retail and event floral design experience who understands the daily requirements of receiving, processing, and maintaining flowers.

Responsibilities:

Design floral arrangements for retail, weddings, funerals, and corporate/personal events. Receive, process, and condition flowers, plants, and hard goods. Confidently price and calculate costs in the moment. Assist with retail sales, merchandising, and creating inspiring shop displays. Take phone and in-store orders with friendly, professional customer service. Maintain a tidy, organized, and professional workspace.

Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in Floral Design from a recognized program

or

equivalent experience. Must have a minimum of 3 years of floral design experience (retail and event). Knowledge of lovingly.com arrangements, required. Strong customer service skills. Quick thinker and problem solver with a deadline-driven mindset. Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Job Details:

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour (commensurate with experience). Hours: 20-30 per week (up to 40 during peak seasons). Schedule: Day shift, weekends, holidays (as needed). Location: On-site with parking available. Start Date: ASAP.
