Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical work involving both residential and commercial work . Must have own tools(including a cordless drill), be reliable, honest and dependable . The Journeyperson will be responsible for executing various tasks related to electrical installations, repairs, and renovations in both residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks according to industry standards. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks. Troubleshoot issues with electrical systems, including logic controllers and low voltage applications. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete renovation projects efficiently. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment. Document work performed and maintain accurate records of materials used.

Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for electrical work. Strong understanding of blueprints and schematics related to electrical systems. Experience with logic controllers and low voltage systems is highly desirable. Ability to perform renovations effectively while adhering to safety standards. Knowledge of industrial electrician practices is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41.82-$43.81 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
