Grigore Counselling & Associates are looking for a child and family therapist, to join our team in Langley BC and are seeking qualified counsellors and social workers to see clients in-person and virtually.

Your qualifications

should be a Masters' level clinician with current registration in good standing with BCACC, CCPA, or BCCSW, and possess up-to-date insurance.

Could your bank account use an extra $6000 per month?

Your expected compensation would be approximately $102 per hour, depending on your experience and other factors. We provide a 60/40 split for our clinicians, with an average pay rate of $170 per hour. Let's say you see 15 clients per week at $170 per client, and after your 60% commission, that could translate into your bank account adding an extra $1530 per week ($6120 per month).

Position Overview:

We are seeking dedicated and skilled clinicians to join our team on a commission basis. The ideal candidate is comfortable providing both in-person and virtual therapy sessions and is committed to maintaining at least three in-office days per week (with the option to work additional days in your home office).

Shifts Needed to Be Filled:

Tuesdays 2 pm to 7 pm Fridays 2 pm to 7 pm Sundays 8 am to 1 pm

Qualifications:

Must be a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC), Registered Social Worker (RSW), Registered Clinical Social Worker (RCSW) or higher in good standing with the appropriate regulatory body. Graduate-level training in an evidence-based modality, such as:

Child Therapy / Play Therapy

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for Families

Family Therapy

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)*

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct brief 20-minute consultations over secure Jane video software to ensure goodness of fit with new potential clients. Provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy services to clients within set shift schedule (approximately 8 am to 1 pm, 2 pm to 8 pm). Retain clients and ensure positive working relationship as appropriate. Maintain professional documentation and adhere to ethical and legal standards. Work collaboratively within a team-based environment. Be available for at least two full days in-office per week, with additional availability for virtual sessions. Ability to increase availability is considered an asset.

Preferred Qualities:

Ability to work more than the minimum in-office requirement. Experience working with diverse populations.

Multilingual skills are an asset (particularly Hindi or Punjabi).
