Experienced carpet installer
Design Flooring Centre is a well established large commercial and residential flooring contractor that has been in business since 1997. We are looking for an
experienced carpet installer
to join our team in Medicine Hat, AB.Applicants must be dependable and professional with experience in residential applications. Experience in commercial projects and/or linoleum installation are definite assets.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lifting and transferring materials and tools on and off of job sites Preparation of floors including sweeping, vacuuming, spreading glue, mixing floor patch, self leveling and removal of existing products Measuring, cutting and installation of flooring Working on both commercial and residential work sites We provide all installation materials, accessories and trims. Installers are paid every two weeks. There is no training for this position.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license Transportation to and from work sites Must have your own tools
The preferred candidate is:
Professional with excellent customer service and communication skills Efficient, has good time management skills and is able to work unsupervised A team player with a great work ethic
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
8 hour shift Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
