Experienced Carpenter - Deck City (Winnipeg, MB)

Full Time. Permanent. Residential Construction.

Deck City is growing and we are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team. We build high quality decks, pergolas, sunrooms, fencing and other residential outdoor structures across Winnipeg and surrounding areas. We take pride in craftsmanship, professionalism and delivering a smooth customer experience from start to finish.

Position Overview

You will work as part of a skilled crew on residential builds of all sizes. This role is hands on and requires someone who can take initiative, solve problems on site, and maintain a high standard of workmanship. The position is full time and permanent.

What You Will Do

Build and install decks, pergolas, sunrooms, privacy screens and other exterior structures Read and interpret drawings, plans and material lists Complete framing, finishing and general carpentry tasks Operate hand tools and power tools safely Work with lumber, composite materials and aluminum products Maintain clean and organized job sites Communicate clearly with team members and site leads Follow safety procedures at all times

What We Are Looking For

Minimum 2 to 3 years residential carpentry or framing experience Strong understanding of residential construction Ability to work independently and as part of a team Current drivers license and vehicle Attention to detail and pride in quality work Ability to lift and carry materials Must have experience with decking or exterior builds

Pay: $28.00-$34.00 per hour
