We're looking for an experienced

Carpenter

to join our team in Whistler. Our work includes

residential and commercial renovations, form work, framing, window & door installations, structural repairs, roofing modifications, siding, and finishing work.

This position requires a strong background in various construction and maintenance person tasks, with an emphasis on quality workmanship and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set, enabling them to tackle a wide range of projects, from basic repairs to complex installations.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret plans and schematics to execute construction plans accurately. Carry out restoration tasks, ensuring structures are maintained to high standards. Perform concrete forming and rebar installation for various projects. Engage in masonry work as required for building structures or features. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during all tasks. Assist in assembly tasks for various components within construction projects. Perform heavy lifting as necessary to complete installations or repairs.

Requirements

Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or related fields is essential (5+ years experience preferred). Good problem-solving skills and a "get it done" attitude. Reliable, organized, and able to work independently. Valid driver's license and vehicle. Red Seal certification is a bonus but not required. Strong knowledge of construction techniques and materials is required. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on various projects. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Must possess physical stamina for heavy lifting and long hours on-site.

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
