Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and the ability to work with a variety of materials. This role involves constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. The Carpenter will be responsible for ensuring that all work meets safety standards and is completed to the highest quality.

Responsibilities

Build and construct frameworks, structures, and fixtures using wood, plywood, and other materials. Perform masonry work as needed, including bricklaying and stonework. Install siding, roofing, and flooring with precision and attention to detail. Ensure all installations are plumb, level, and square according to specifications. Apply caulking for weatherproofing and aesthetic purposes on various surfaces. Conduct construction painting as required for finishing touches on projects. Operate CNC machinery for precise cuts and designs when necessary. Collaborate with other tradespeople on job sites to ensure project completion within deadlines. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods including framing, installation, and finishing work. Familiarity with masonry practices is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery safely and effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$33.33 per hour

Expected hours: 80 per week
