Experienced CarpenterParsons ICF ConstructionParsons ICF Construction is a custom residential home builder that primarily takes on custom home and large renovation projects in and around the Halifax and Bridgewater areas, with a staff of around 35 people. We are a company that has developed a strong reputation of producing excellent quality work over the past 12 years.:

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Understanding customer requirements
  • Measure, cutting, shaping, assembling and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes and ICF
  • Installing Footing & Foundations, ICF, Stick Build and Roof systems, Windows, Trim, Doors, Flooring, Stairs, Mouldings and Hardware
  • Responding to change orders
  • Managing or working with Subcontractors
  • Training apprentices and or coworkers
  • Recommending job improvements, alternative methods, etc
Requirements:
  • Firm and excellent understanding of the building code and Construction Process
  • Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
  • Physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Strong work ethic
  • Team player, reliable, trustworthy and ambitious
  • A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
  • An appropriate set of carpentry tools
  • Basic personal protective equipment
