Job Description
Custom millwork shop in East Vancouver has a
full-time position
available for an experienced & qualified Joiner / Cabinetmaker.Our shop is not a high-production facility, we specialize in commercial construction & renovation of cafes, restaurants, retail, office interiors, and select residential projects; We seek to expand our millwork team as our growth continues.
Skill Requirements:
Qualified Trades Carpenter / Joiner / Cabinetmaker -
experience is essential
Ability to build quality custom cabinets & furniture from start to finish with efficiency, accuracy, to a high level of finish quality CAD shop drawing interpretation To produce accurate materials lists from shop drawings for procurement Familiarity with conventional shop machinery English proficiency & strong communication skills required. Works independently & collaboratively with efficiency and conscientiousness Valid BC Drivers License and reliable transportation - preferred Strong work ethic, pride in workmanship, and a healthy sense of funOffering a starting rate of $30 - $40 per hour (based on experience), opportunities for advancement in position and earnings are numerous.
