Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient experienced Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, and the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, managing cash transactions, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences. Use POS systems such as Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently. Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cashiering and providing correct change. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, answer questions about menu items, and promote specials or events. Monitor guest behaviour to ensure responsible alcohol service in line with legal requirements. Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and drink orders when necessary. Uphold all food handling procedures and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, especially in bartending roles. Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods. Basic math skills for cashiering, making change, and managing tabs accurately. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Hospitality experience is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of guest needs and service excellence.
