We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support in a fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with their inquiries, ensuring a positive experience while adhering to food safety and handling standards.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their orders or inquiries. Process transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Maintain knowledge of menu items and promotions to effectively communicate with customers. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Manage time efficiently to handle multiple customer requests in a timely manner. Address customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the service area.

Requirements

Previous experience in customer service, preferably within the food industry. Strong cash handling skills and basic math proficiency for accurate transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures is a plus. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing outstanding service. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
