Position Overview

Professional truck driver responsible for safely operating and maintaining commercial vehicles to deliver construction materials and supplies to job sites and customers.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate tri-axle, split, or flatbed trucks for delivery of bulk materials, interlock, and other construction supplies Conduct mandatory pre-trip vehicle inspections and complete inspection documentation Secure and verify loads according to MTO standards before transport Follow all company safety policies and procedures Maintain cleanliness of vehicle Complete required delivery documentation Follow designated traffic patterns and site safety protocols Communicate effectively with dispatch, yard staff, and customers
Required Qualifications

Valid AZ license in good standing with 2 year trailer experience Clean driver's abstract Knowledge of MTO regulations and hours of service requirements Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles over 4500kg Strong safety mindset and attention to detail Excellent customer service and communication skills Physical ability to climb in/out of truck and assist with loading/unloading Reliable attendance and punctuality
Physical Requirements

Frequent climbing in/out of truck cab Standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs Working in various weather conditions Operating vehicle controls Visual acuity and spatial awareness
Working Conditions

Variable schedule based on seasonal demand Early morning start times Outdoor work in all weather conditions Travel throughout service area Must wear required PPE including safety boots, hard hat and high-visibility vest

Follow all company health and safety policies Complete required safety training and orientation Report any accidents, injuries or safety concerns immediately Maintain updated safety certifications Use proper lifting techniques and PPE Follow proper load securing procedures Adhere to site traffic control and safety protocols
