We currently have immediate openings for experienced Cable TV Aerial Line Technicians / Telecommunications.
These positions require you to work various shifts, which are primarily days, but could also include evenings and weekends depending on the business requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities for Aerial Technicians / Telecommunications:
Operate Vehicle-mounted aerial device equipment Install aerial strand, down guys, anchors Lashing cable and fiber Must be able to fully operate a Line Truck Operate cable lashing machines and other associated equipment Outside Plant (OSP) line construction with coax, copper and fibre cables Pole transfers and associated tasks Reading and interpreting plans and locates Load and unload equipment and cable trailers Perform testing and troubleshooting if required Follow safe work practices and procedures Other duties as assigned
Preference will be given to the incumbent that has experience in telecommunications. Also, consideration will be given to candidates that possess a Valid G class Ontario drivers license. A clean DZ or AZ license would be an asset.
