We are seeking experienced Abatement workers to join our dynamic team dedicated to safely removing hazardous materials from various environments. In this vital role, you will perform asbestos abatement, mold remediation, and other hazardous material removal tasks with precision and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will help ensure safe, clean, and healthy spaces for our clients, while maintaining compliance with all OSHA regulations and industry best practices. Responsibilities
Safely execute asbestos abatement procedures in accordance with OSHA guidelines and industry standards
Conduct mold remediation and restoration work efficiently, ensuring environmental safety
Prepare work sites by setting up containment barriers and proper ventilation systems
Remove hazardous materials using specialized tools and techniques while minimizing risk of contamination or exposure
Follow detailed protocols for disposal of hazardous waste in compliance with environmental regulations
Perform thorough inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure all work meets safety standards
Document all procedures, inspections, and safety checks accurately for project records and compliance audits
Skills
Proven experience in asbestos abatement, mold remediation, or related hazardous material removal roles
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations related to hazardous materials handling and safety practices
Construction or restoration background with an understanding of building materials and environmental controls
Ability to operate specialized equipment used in abatement processes safely and effectively
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety, quality, and environmental standards
Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report on project progress
Certifications in asbestos abatement, mold remediation, OSHA safety training, or related fields are highly preferred
