Job Description

As an Experience Strategist you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience for our digital platforms. You will leverage your expertise in design systems UI patterns and visual branding to create engaging and intuitive interfaces. Collaborating with cross-functional teams you will ensure that our digital products meet the highest standards of usability and aesthetics enhancing user satisfaction and driving business success.

Responsibilities



Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive experience design strategies that align with business objectives and user needs. Oversee the creation and management of design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across digital platforms. Provide expert guidance on UI design patterns and visual branding to enhance user engagement and brand recognition. Collaborate with product managers developers and other stakeholders to deliver cohesive and user-centric digital experiences. Conduct heuristic reviews to identify usability issues and recommend actionable improvements. Utilize tools like Figma and Adobe XD to create wireframes prototypes and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design concepts. Ensure responsive web design principles are applied to deliver seamless experiences across devices. Drive the creative design process for websites and apps ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and user expectations. Analyze user feedback and data to inform design decisions and optimize user experiences. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance design practices. Facilitate workshops and design sprints to foster innovation and collaboration within the team. Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices throughout the organization. Measure the impact of design solutions on user satisfaction and business outcomes.




Qualifications



Possess strong expertise in Experience Design POV and Design System Management. Demonstrate proficiency in Figma Adobe XD and Adobe Photoshop for design creation and prototyping. Have a solid understanding of UI Design Patterns and Responsive Web Design principles. Exhibit a keen eye for Visual Design Elements and Fundamentals ensuring high-quality visual outputs. Showcase experience in Visual Branding and Creative Design for Websites and Apps. Bring a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in experience design and strategy.

Certifications Required




Certified User Experience Professional (CUXP) Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in Adobe XD

Benefit Information:




The annual salary for this position is between $80,000/Year to $115,000/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.


This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
