We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about cooking, food preparation, and delivering excellent food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Kitchen Team Member will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Prior restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are essential. Duties
Prepare and cook Indian menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
Assist with meal preparation, food handling, and plating to ensure timely service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
Support the serving staff by preparing ingredients or assisting with order assembly as needed
Ensure all kitchen equipment is operated safely and maintained properly
Stock supplies, ingredients, and utensils to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Adhere to health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment for all team members
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food safety practices is advantageous
Familiarity with food handling procedures and kitchen equipment is beneficial
Experience in the food industry demonstrates an understanding of high-volume service environments and customer satisfaction standards
