Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and contribute to a welcoming dining environment. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a high level of hospitality to enhance the overall guest experience.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in accordance with food safety standards Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, special requests, and resolving issues promptly Follow all food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction Ability to handle food safely and maintain proper sanitation standards Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and order management Experience in food industry roles including serving, cashiering, or food preparation is advantageous Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is desirable
