Overview

Want to make a difference connecting with the workers and employers of BC? Join our experience, marketing and insights team as an experience & digital marketing advisor. You\xe2\x80\x99ll support our online presence and community engagement through digital channels, and build and strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders by developing key social media and digital marketing strategic plans that deliver on the WorkSafeBC Experience (our corporate brand) of promoting workplace health and safety throughout the province.

This is a temporary assignment for approximately 13 months in duration.

What you\'ll do

As an experience & digital marketing advisor you will:

  • Develop and provide expert planning for multi-channel marketing strategies to enhance customer experience and build brand presence through content including social media and digital marketing
  • Manage a variety of on-going digital marketing programs such as continuous improvement (analytics), online contact strategy, newsletter, email program, and social media seeding and monitoring
  • Facilitate and provide direction and clarity to projects and programs requiring digital marketing expertise
  • Provide leadership in promoting the WorkSafeBC Experience throughout the organization and support internal client departments, ensuring the corporate identity is maintained by developing and implement service experience strategies
  • Prepare and present information regarding our corporate brand, overall marketing initiatives, and corporate campaigns to various audiences throughout our organization
  • Conduct market research and use the results to guide the direction of marketing strategies and campaign plans

  • Develop and manage project budgets and schedules, as well as maintain templated processes on the initiation of new projects
  • Use effective verbal and written communication skills to communicate marketing strategies to senior management and other stakeholders throughout the organization
  • Support clients by managing expectations, addressing barriers, and solving problems by accessing internal or external resources
  • Use effective verbal and written communication skills and influence others to achieve objectives
  • Think and act strategically and identify creative and innovative approaches, ideas, and solutions
Your experience and educational background:
  • A degree in marketing, communications, or business administration
  • A minimum of six years of experience in the field of marketing, creative services, or communications
  • Demonstrated ability to use digital marketing and brand strategy practices
  • Knowledge of social media, email marketing, and digital CRM best practices, approaches, and platforms
  • An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered
