Job Description
Our SW Calgary Client is looking for an experienced and certified forklift operator to help with a short term clean up project! This company values hard work, teamwork and a \xe2\x80\x9cget-it-done\xe2\x80\x9d attitude, with a solid track record of safety for their employees! This assignment has a very attractive pay of $28/hr.Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading heavy products
- Dismantling heavy shelving units using various hand and power tools
- Moving and organizing piping into a designated area
- Regular safety inspections of the forklift, communicating any issues directly to the supervisor
- Current forklift certification, with proven proficiency on the Counterbalance forklift
- 2 - 3 years of warehouse experience
- Experience loading, unloading and maneuvering heavy long loads
- Experience with hand and power tools and willing to dismantle large shelving units
- Must be a good communicator and proficient in speaking, reading and writing in English
- Accountable and responsible to proactively and effectively resolve issues in a timely manner
- Steel toed boots and safety glasses are required
