As a Royal Vancouver Yacht Club Expeditor, you will provide exceptional service by delivering meals and beverages directly to guests' rooms, ensuring a memorable and personalized experience. Your knowledge of our menu, attention to detail, and warmth will help you exceed guests' expectations.

What you will be doing:
Provide professional, friendly, and engaging service to all guests
Serve food and beverages accurately and on time, ensuring quality and presentation meet standards
Take guest orders over the phone in a professional and courteous manner
Communicate effectively with guests, addressing special dietary preferences, concerns, and requests
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the menu and seasonal changes to offer suggestions
Efficiently pick up orders from the kitchen, ensuring accuracy
Follow all safety, sanitation, and service standards
Accurately process orders and payments, ensuring correctness
Assist with menu inquiries, offering informative suggestions
Undertake additional duties to contribute to team and guest experience success
Qualifications
To be successful in this role we ask that you have:
Minimum of 1 year of Food & Beverage service experience
Serving It Right certificate required
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and courteous while focusing on guest needs
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, responsible, and able to work effectively as part of a team
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overnights as required
Experience with Point-of-Sale Systems preferred (Micros, Property Manager, and Microsoft applications are an asset)
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
Constant standing and walking throughout the shift
Frequent lifting and carrying of items up to 20 lbs.
Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting
Occasional ascending and descending ladders, stairs, and ramps

Visa Requirements:
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Schedule: able to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts, Full-time or Part-time.
