The Company

B2Gold is a low-cost international senior gold producer headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Founded in 2007, today, B2Gold has three operating gold mines and numerous development and exploration projects in various countries including Canada, Mali, the Philippines, Namibia, Columbia, Finland, and Uzbekistan. This year, B2Gold forecasts gold production to be 1,000,000- 1,080,000 ounces.

Position

Expeditor and Receiving Coordinator, Edmonton.

Location and Reporting Structure

Reporting to the Manager, Supply Chain, this position will be Monday - Friday based in Edmonton, AB, Canada.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the receiving and inspection of materials, equipment, and supplies for the Back River operations;
• Regularly update report data and generate material expediting reports on a scheduled basis, while also recording daily issues and pertinent order status information;
• Communicate with suppliers to inquire about the status of material and service orders, and ensure appropriate follow-up with buyers, end users, vendors, and consolidation/transit points;
• Monitor and track the status of all incoming shipments and communicate any delays or discrepancies to relevant stakeholders;
• Deliver regular updates to buyers and end users concerning delivery schedules, vendor performance, or any other matters associated with material deliveries;
• Prioritize and expedite critical shipments to meet production and project schedules;
• Assist procurement and logistics personnel in coordinating transportation;
• Examine invoices to verify their alignment with purchase orders and contract terms;
• Collaborate with warehouse receiving and QA/QC to ensure the timely receipt of materials;
• Support the creation and upkeep of documents, such as packing lists, commercial invoices, and material receipts; and
• Collecting and analyzing data, as well as inputting and reporting data through ERP system.

Desired Competencies and Requirements

• 4 years of experience is a warehouse setting with an industrial or mining background preferred;
• High school diploma;
• Valid Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License and Forklift Certification; and
• Proficiency in inventory software ERP systems, databases, and systems. SAP experience is considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

For informational purposes, the salary for the role is $85,000.00 B2Gold Nunavut offers a competitive compensation package, including salary commensurate with experience, knowledge, and skills, plus a group benefits package for employees and their dependents.
