is a wellness and rehabilitation center with two locations in Blackburn Hamlet and Orleans .We have progressive and dynamic practices that are known for delivering exceptional and personalized physiotherapy care, massage therapy, Chiropractic doctors, and Osteopathic therapy that help people reach their optimal functional ability and quality of life.

We have a steady flow of new patients as we have been in town for over five years. We have excellent ties to the community and are located within areas that have great anchor stores for client traffic.

As our clinics continue to grow, we are looking to hire an

Exercise Therapist / Rehabilitation Specialist

to join our professional team.

As a professional at Expert Physio Plus, you are an important member of our clinical team. You are responsible for assisting with client care as directed by a Physiotherapist, and you are the type of person who will take pride in the thoroughness of your work and the strong relationships you develop with your clients and co-workers.

Your responsibilities would include:



Implement rehabilitation interventions, including therapeutic exercises and functional training, to promote mobility, strength, and flexibility. Monitor clients' progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes and meet goals. Educate clients and their families on injury prevention strategies, home exercise programs, and adaptive techniques to facilitate independence and self-management. Collaborate effectively with physiotherapists to ensure coordinated care and holistic rehabilitation. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements. Uphold high standards of professionalism, compassion, and empathy in all interactions with clients, fostering a supportive and motivating environment. Explaining and using modalities (TENS, U/S, muscle stim etc.) Cleaning/sterilization of medical and exercise equipment.

Qualifications:



Personal and friendly demeanor with excellent relationship-building skills. Proven experience working in a rehabilitation setting, preferably within a physiotherapy clinic. Strong knowledge of human anatomy, biomechanics, and exercise physiology. A degree in the field of Kinesiology or human kinetics is highly preferred. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively explain complex concepts and instructions to clients. Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others achieve their rehabilitation goals. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality. Bilingualism (English and French) is preferred.

Salary: An hourly wage based on $18.00 to $22.50 per hour, commensurate with experience.
