United Mennonite Home is a multi- stage charitable organization, serving the seniors community from independent living retirement townhouses, to assisted living retirement apartments to long term care. We pride ourselves in quality care and responsiveness to the needs of all our clients. Our company is searching for an experienced, reliable and task oriented Executive and Administrative Assistant. The position will be part of a multifunctional role and environment reporting to the Executive Director, Director of Finance, and Payroll/IT Coordinator the ideal candidate is highly self-motivated and is able to prioritize the work load and work flexible hours as required. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Coordinate executive communications, including taking calls, responding to emails and interfacing with clients, family members, staff and others for the Executive Director Prepare internal and external corporate documents for the Executive Director Schedule meetings and appointments and manage travel itineraries for the Executive Director Arrange corporate events such as the Board of Directors\xe2\x80\x99 monthly and annual meetings, fundraising, staff appreciation events and minutes as directed for the Executive Director Maintain an organized filing system of paper and electronic documents for both the Executive Director and Director of Finance Coordinates the re-sale of Life-lease townhouses, including agreements and other information as needed. Provide bookkeeping services and data entry services and monthly financial statements on accounting software Prepare accounting documents to assist finance with preparation of monthly and annual reports for the Board of Directors Assist the finance with the preparation of reports for the annual audit. Assist payroll with new employee file organization, orientation, audits. Compiles and prepares monthly payroll remittances on a monthly basis QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Minimum of 4 years of experience reporting directly to senior management Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software in health care setting Superior planning and organizational skills associated with a \'systems thinker\' Comport him/her with integrity and is trustworthy and results orientated Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills with tight timelines Friendly and professional demeanor Collaborates and believes in teamwork to address challenges and implement new initiatives. Hours of Work: Mon \xe2\x80\x93 Fri, 8:30 \xe2\x80\x93 4:30 flexible Job Type: Full-time Salary: $48,033.00-$55,000.00 per year Benefits:
