As Executive Vice President, Corporate Planning (EVP) your primary role will be to look to the future and plot a roadmap that will allow SaskEnergy to transform over the next few years and position it for continued success.
A multi-dimensional position that reports to the President and Chief Executive Officer, this portfolio will span across business functions. The EVP will play a critical role in helping SaskEnergy achieve its strategic objectives by driving a results-oriented approach, setting performance targets and holding functional units accountable. A solid understanding of the regulatory environment in which SaskEnergy operates will allow the EVP to build recommendations on how to weave opportunities into the company\xe2\x80\x99s already ambitious business plan.
Hallmarks of success will be the presence of a comprehensive strategic roadmap and implementation of short and long-term objectives and initiatives to drive business results, create value and inspire fact-based thought leadership on key strategic and financial decisions.
The role will be best served by a visionary with superior leadership and planning skills along with sound judgment who can inspire innovative approaches to problem solving and conceptualize and manage the impact of change in an ever-evolving environment. Formal preparation for this role, at a minimum, will include:
an undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering or a related field.
a CFA or CPA designation would be an asset.
10+ years of professional experience that demonstrates progressive responsibilities and significant senior-level management experience in a complex energy and/or regulatory environment.
experience leading enterprise-wide change management efforts.
natural gas industry experience would be an asset.
