On target income (OTI) is composed of your base salary + commission/bonus structure. OTI is a forecast of your potential earnings for the role.

Our client is a multinational consumer electronics and appliance manufacturer. They started selling in the Canadian market in 2012 and their revenue has grown 30% on average YOY. The company was founded in 1969 and has since grown to become one of the largest electronics brands in the world. They produce a wide range of products, including televisions, refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, etc. They have a presence in more than 160 countries worldwide and are committed to providing their customers with innovative, high-quality products at an affordable price. With clients like Costco, Best Buy, Home Depot, and the Brick - they have really made their mark in Canada and are now seeking an experienced and visionary Executive Vice President (EVP) to join their executive team. The ideal candidate will be an innovative and strategic thinker who can drive growth, profitability, and market share through a deep understanding of consumer electronics trends and a focus on delivering high-quality products and services to customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the company\'s strategic plan and vision to drive growth and profitability
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of company goals
  • Drive the development of new products and services to meet evolving customer needs and market trends
  • Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration across the company
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for partnerships, alliances, and acquisitions to enhance the company\'s competitive position and capabilities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and stakeholders
  • Ensure that the company operates in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards
  • Manage the financial performance of the company and make data-driven decisions to maximize revenue and profits
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of senior-level experience in consumer electronics, with a proven track record of driving growth and profitability
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Strong business acumen and financial management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Passion for technology and innovation
