Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and cooking. Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to recipes and presentation standards. Manage food inventory, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. Train new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and cooking techniques. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction. Monitor kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and quality control. Participate in special events or catering as needed.

Skills

Proven experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing a team. Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service. Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Experience in restaurant management with a focus on hospitality. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. Pay: $40,330.00-$66,256.55 per year
