Tucker House seeks a creative, motivated and mature professional as its new Executive Director
One hundred and fifty-five years after its construction, the architectural beauty of Tucker House remains impressive. What has changed, however, are the activities taking place in the confederation era house and spread over the 30-acre property. Throughout the year, you will notice the community gathering in the house for events such as QiGong, yoga, workshops and groups walking in the forest trails and our Indigenous Garden to learn about different ecosystems. Young couples join to celebrate their wedding surrounded by their loved ones, and children come to summer day camps to learn about environmental sustainability through activities and play, as they have for over 50 years.
Through its programs and partnerships, Tucker House seeks to maintain its rich history, natural features and programming, while harnessing these resources to promote environmental stewardship and educating the community to live more sustainably.
Tucker House is looking for an experienced, bilingual enthusiastic leader and local spokesperson to be its new Executive Director. The selected candidate will be passionate about our work in the region, our organizational values and mission, and ready to put their stamp on the next exciting chapter of the Tucker House story.
