Rodeo FX is looking for a remarkable leader to join our 360* Ads and Experiences divisions located in Montreal and Toronto. The Executive Creative Director will be in charge of leading and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team of Creative Directors to ensure our projects are delivered to the highest standards and efficiency. With vast experience in advertising, experiences, VFX and more the ECD will be responsible for ensuring structure and direction are established across those divisions and the long term growth and expansion of these divisions globally.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for overall creative strategy, quality of creative work, innovation and problem-solving across these divisions;

Work with our Business Development team, VP of Creative Operations and our VP of Production to establish and build our creative pipeline and processes for our long term and short term goals;

Oversea recruitment and staffing for various roles including but not limited to creative directors, ensuring top creative talent is hired;

Work with business development and production to ensure profitability of departments;

Foster positive relationships with our team of creatives and provide guidance when necessary;

Ensure client expectations and project goals are aligned and delivered to the highest quality and standards;

Prepare, listen and deliver client briefs and pitches while also developing and maintaining excellent relationships with clients.

Qualifications

15+ years experience in a production, 5+ years as a Creative Director

Extensive experience with creative direction, digital content, augmented content, virtual experiences, digital programming (interactive content) and real time content;

Extensive experience building and growing teams at a global level with knowledge of international markets;

Excellent client facing and presentation skills; someone who will go above and beyond;

Excellent, planning and project management skills;

Ensure our team enjoys working at Rodeo FX and is inspired;

Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams;

In-depth knowledge and/or experience working with VFX, advertising, animation, post production, grading, flame, and motion design.
