Responsibilities:

A titre de chef executif, vous etes responsable des activites quotidiennes et de la dotation en personnel pour la cuisine et la salle a manger de la collectivite. Vous favorisez une culture d'accueil et vous assurez que les gouts des residents sont satisfaits et que leurs suggestions sont mises en oeuvre. Vous agissez a titre de gerant en service, au besoin.Responsable des entrevues, de l'embauche, de la formation, du perfectionnement et de la gestion du rendement du personnel assigne. Cela comprend la planification des heures, des pauses et des periodes de repas. Confirmer que le personnel de l'accueil et de service travaille en etroite collaboration pour livrer un produit alimentaire qui depasse les attentes du resident ou des autres invites. Collaborez avec les dirigeants et le personnel pour satisfaire les clients et atteindre les objectifs des enquetes sur la sante. Tenir a jour la documentation et la soumission des rapports et des factures en temps opportun concernant le budget et les autres responsabilites exigees par la communaute et l'entreprise. Maintenir la satisfaction des employes et les resultats en matiere d'engagement au niveau ou au-dessus de la norme de l'entreprise. Deleguer des taches a tous les employes afin que les aires de cuisine et de salle a manger soient toujours propres et de qualite les plus elevees. Organiser et participer aux reunions de departement, aux seances de mise en service et aux reunions preparatoires. S'assurer que tout le personnel utilise et entretient l'equipement correctement pour eviter les blessures, les dommages et les reparations couteuses. Participer a la planification, a la preparation et a l'execution des evenements Engage Life, des evenements speciaux, des banquets et des repas thematiques. Travailler en etroite collaboration avec l'equipe des ventes communautaires et le personnel de la communaute pour promouvoir la communaute. Assurez-vous que le personnel de cuisine comprend les attentes de l'entreprise et les exigences de premiere impression. Agir a titre de gerant en service, au besoin. Peut effectuer d'autres taches au besoin ou selon les taches qui lui sont assignees.

In the role of Executive Chef, you are responsible for the day-to-day operations and staffing for the kitchen and dining venue in the community. You drive a culture of hospitality and ensure that residents' tastes are indulged and their suggestions implemented. You act as a manager on duty as required.Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, developing, and performance managing assigned staff. This includes scheduling of hours, breaks, and meal periods. Maintain monthly and annual budgets for the Culinary Services department, including producing written documentation of monthly spend on food, supplies, and labor. Maintain the appropriate inventory of kitchen supplies, small wares, and table ware. Responsible for ensuring that purchasing standards are maintained and that appropriate vendors are used at all times. Maintain strong and positive relationships with all vendors. Ensure that all food is prepared, stored, and served according to Company standards and legal requirements. Meet regularly with residents and family members to confirm that high satisfaction levels are maintained. Work with staff to ensure that they have a clear understanding of how to provide high levels of customer service. Confirm that the front of house and back of house staff work closely together to deliver a food product that exceeds the resident's and/or other guests' expectations. Work with community leadership and front-line staff to obtain and maintain department customer satisfaction and department of health survey levels at or above designated scores. Maintain timely and accurate documentation and submission of reports and invoices regarding budget and other responsibilities as required by the community and the Company. Maintain employee satisfaction and engagement scores at or above the Company standard. Delegate tasks to all staff so that the kitchen and dining areas are maintained at the highest levels of cleanliness and quality at all times. Conduct and participate in department meetings, in-services, and pre-meal stand ups. Ensure that all staff use and maintain equipment properly to avoid injury, damage, and costly repairs. Assist in planning, preparation, and execution of Engage Life events, special events, banquets, and theme meals. Work closely with the Community Sales team and community staff to market the community. Ensure that the kitchen staff understand Company expectations and first impression requirements. Act as a manager on duty as required. May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.

Qualifications:
Diplome d'etudes secondaires ou diplome d'enseignement general (DEG). Diplome en arts culinaires ou certification de chef sont fortement privilegies. Communiquer efficacement en anglais, verbalement et par ecrit, avec les residents, le personnel et les fournisseurs. Cinq (5) ans ou plus d'experience culinaire dans l'industrie hoteliere. Experience demontree de la supervision du personnel et du travail d'equipe. Les manutentionnaires alimentaires le permettent conformement aux lois applicables ou aux normes de l'entreprise. La certification HACCP peut etre requise. Respect des politiques de l'entreprise en matiere d'apparence et de code vestimentaire. Solides competences en organisation, en souci du detail et en gestion du temps. Competences informatiques de base : Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Le poste peut vous demander des responsabilites de conduite (peut utiliser un vehicule ou un vehicule personnel fourni par l'entreprise). Doit posseder un permis de conduire valide. Doit satisfaire et respecter de facon satisfaisante les normes de la politique sur les vehicules automobiles de l'entreprise High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Culinary Arts Degree and/or Chef Certification strongly preferred. Communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing, with residents, staff, and vendors. Five (5) or more years Culinary Experience in the hospitality industry. Demonstrated experience in supervising staff and working in a team setting. Food handlers permit as required by applicable law and/or Company standards. HACCP certification may be required. Adherence to Company appearance and dress code policies. Strong organization, detail orientation, and time management skills. Basic computer skills - Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Position may require driving responsibilities (may use Company provided vehicle and/or personal vehicle). Must possess valid driver's license. * Must satisfactorily meet and be in compliance with Company motor vehicle policy standards.
