Your Opportunity:
The Executive Associate (EA) is a pivotal role in supporting the Senior Operating Officer (SOO) and the broader Provincial Pharmacy Services program, acting as a key liaison across portfolios. This position is instrumental in advancing strategic planning, managing issues, coordinating committees, and facilitating internal communications--ensuring alignment, confidentiality, and collaboration throughout the organization. This role works closely with the Executive Administrative Assistant, with both positions providing mutual support and coverage as needed to ensure seamless executive operations. The EA is a proactive, professional, and detailed-oriented individual who brings expertise in executive support, internal/external contacts engagement, and strategic initiatives. They contribute to effectiveness of the Senior Leadership by supporting initiatives such as the Pharmacy Strategic Plan, Business Planning, Annual Reporting, Operational Planning, People Strategy, the Pharmacy Compounding Infrastructure Project. As a member of the Provincial Leadership Team (PLT), Pharmacy Senior Leadership Team (PSLT), Pharmacy Connect Steering Committee, and many others, the EA is deeply involved in shaping the direction of Pharmacy Services. They also support Pharmacy Communications, including Insite updates, SharePoint content, internal communications, recognition events like Pharmacy Awareness Month and preparing briefing notes. The EA connects internal/external contacts with subject matter experts (SMEs) across the program to ensure seamless collaboration and information flow.

Required Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Health Administration, or Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Five years' experience in pharmacy or management level administrative support in a health care environment. Experience with issues and concerns management, and project management. Ability to be discreet in dealing with highly confidential and sensitive information. Proven ability for drafting documents, preparing speaking notes and writing. Proven ability to work within a team as a contributing member. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience working independently within a large organization with a variety of staffing groups. Proven ability to work collaboratively with other team members from other areas of expertise, and with the most senior management within the organization. Equivalencies of education, experience and skills may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with pharmacy practice.
