Duties

?? Coordinate Complaints and Allegations incoming to Yukon Region, and assign to directorates for action and response as appropriate.



?? Provide oversight and lead role for Administrative Officers in the region.



?? Assist in Human Resources navigation for the Region, including setting up interviews, sending out written exams, records management, and liaise with HR staff on administrative matters as needed.



?? Regional expert on Isolated Post and Government Housing Directive medical travel (including compassionate and bereavement travel).



?? Coordinate large staff gatherings.

Intent of the process

The immediate intent of the process is to staff indeterminately one position at Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada, in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory.



A pool of partially qualified candidates may be established, which could be used to staff temporary, and/or permanent positions, with similar qualifications, various linguistic profiles, various security requirements, and/or various tenures at Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada, within the Yukon Region. Conditions of employment may vary according to the positions to be staffed.



Positions are located in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory.

EXPERIENCE

Experience providing general administrative or client services. Experience in preparing and refining internal directives, policies or corporate reporting, including document quality control and filing. Experience in analyzing and prioritizing incoming requests for completion. Experience in coordinating logistics for travel. Experience providing guidance or supervision to employees delivering administrative support services in an office setting.

ASSET EXPERIENCE

Experience in working with CCM Enterprise. Experience in working in a Northern Office. Experience with providing advice and support for medical travel under isolated post and government housing directive.

7. Online assessments may be scheduled, and applicants will be invited to participate in these assessments via email. Applicants MUST make themselves available within the time span of the testing phase. The written/online exam MAY be administered outside of regular working hours including evenings and weekends.
