Intent of the process

This is an anticipatory process to address needs at the Agassiz Research and Development Centre (RDC).




The intent is to staff one Executive Assistant position on a temporary or permanent basis.




On-site presence three days per week is required at the Agassiz RDC.



A pool of qualified or partially qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar permanent or temporary positions with different language and security requirements in research centers across Canada.

Education:

.: Secondary school diploma or an employer approved alternative.




The employer-approved alternatives to a secondary school diploma are:

(1) A satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; or

(2) An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency


Experience:

.: Experience providing administrative support such as scheduling and managing calendars, coordinating meetings, and arranging travel.

.: Experience handling confidential, protected and sensitive information or material.

.: Experience providing administrative support services related to financial or human resources.

.: Experience using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

Experience:
