Municipal Construction Ltd. specializes in asphalt & aggregate production, paving, and road building & rehabilitation.

We are currently hiring a seasonal

Excavator Operator

to complete various projects, such as, guiderail installation and removal, riprap installation, and ditching. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE ON VARIOUS SIZES OF EXCAVATORS, INCLDUING MINI EXCAVATORS.

Duties

Guide rail and post removal and installation. Riprap installation. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to understand project specifications and timelines. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment during operation.

Qualifications

Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with excavators. Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance and repairs on machinery. Ability to work effectively in a team setting while also being self-motivated.
