Overview
We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating heavy machinery, particularly excavators, and will be responsible for various tasks on construction sites. This role is vital for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment while contributing to the overall success of our projects.
Responsibilities
Operate excavators and other heavy equipment, including dozers, loaders, backhoes, and graders, to perform excavation tasks. Conduct routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety. Collaborate with team members to plan and execute excavation projects efficiently. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Communicate effectively with site supervisors regarding project progress and any equipment issues.
Skills
Proficient in heavy equipment operation, specifically excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, and graders. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on machinery. Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques and paving processes. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating strong communication skills. Previous experience in construction settings is highly desirable.

Pay: $33.00-$35.00 per hour
