Overview

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating heavy machinery and will be responsible for various tasks related to excavation and construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Operate excavators and other heavy equipment to perform excavation tasks. Dig trenches, foundations, and other earthworks as required by project specifications. Assist in paving operations as needed. Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure project timelines are met. Follow all safety guidelines and regulations while operating machinery on-site. Communicate effectively with crew members to coordinate tasks and ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

Proficiency in heavy equipment operation, particularly excavators and loaders. Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety practices. Commercial driving experience is advantageous for transporting equipment when necessary. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues on-site.

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
