Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating heavy machinery, particularly excavators, and will be responsible for various tasks on construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Duties
Operate excavators and other heavy equipment such as loaders to complete construction tasks. Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Collaborate with site supervisors and other crew members to ensure work is completed on schedule. Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Skills
Proficient in heavy equipment operation, particularly excavators, and loaders. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on machinery. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining focus on individual tasks. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors effectively. A valid commercial driver's license is a plus but not mandatory.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
