Position Summary





We are looking for an

Excavator Operator

to join our civil engineering project team. This position is primarily for the construction of

telecommunication towers in the James Bay area (hors decret)

. If you have experience with heavy construction equipment, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for quality work, this opportunity is for you!


This is a particularly stimulating role because it isn't limited to just operating the machine. Your main responsibility will be operating the excavator, but you will also be required to assist with

related civil tasks

when the excavator work permits.

Key Responsibilities



Operate an excavator

efficiently and safely for various tasks, such as trench digging, site preparation, excavation, and leveling.

Inspect the equipment's condition

and functionality before each use and report any defects or maintenance needs.

Actively participate in civil tasks

as a complement to the excavator work, such as cable laying, pipe installation, or material transport.

Work as part of a team

to ensure the smooth flow of operations on the job site.

Read and interpret plans

for civil work.

Ensure compliance

with current safety codes and company policies.

Skills and Qualifications



Proven experience as an excavator operator. Strong knowledge of reading plans for civil work. In-depth knowledge of safety standards on construction sites. Autonomy, rigor, and professionalism. Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing work conditions. Valid driver's license (an asset).
