Overview

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating heavy machinery, particularly excavators, and will be responsible for various tasks on construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes and safety protocols, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities

Operate excavators and other heavy equipment, including bulldozers, Excavators, loaders, graders. Perform excavation tasks for various construction projects, ensuring precision and adherence to project specifications. Assist in building foundations, paving roads, and preparing sites for further construction activities. Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate work schedules and equipment usage. Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise and report any significant problems to the maintenance team.

Requirements

Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with excavators. Familiarity with bulldoze operation, backhoe operation, loader operation, grader operation, is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance and repairs on equipment. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors. Commitment to following safety regulations and maintaining a safe work environment. Valid driver's license may be required based on job site locations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 - 54 per week
