Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating heavy machinery, particularly excavators, and will be responsible for performing various tasks related to construction and excavation projects. This role requires a strong understanding of equipment operation, safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members on-site.

Duties

Operate excavators and other heavy equipment to perform excavation task saftly Ensure proper maintenance of equipment by performing routine inspections and addressing mechanical issues promptly. Collaborate with construction teams to execute project plans efficiently and safely. Follow all safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and project progress.

Qualifications

Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with excavators and related machinery. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment issues. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is preferred. Experience in construction environments is essential. Ability to operate additional machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and paving equipment is a plus. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications for heavy equipment operation are advantageous. Pay: $22.00-$39.00 per hour
