Athabasca University's Office of the Registrar is recruiting for a temporaryExamination Services Administrator ending July 2027.
First consideration will be given to internal applicants according to the AUPE Collective Agreement, Article 11.02
The Position:
Consistent with the policies of the University and the objectives and priorities of the Office of the Registrar, the incumbent will provide efficient and effective service to AU learners, AU staff and external partners while ensuring the integrity of the processes related to Examination Services. The incumbent will efficiently assess and process examination requests, effectively address all incoming e-mail andtelephone calls pertaining to the Examination Services Unit. The incumbent will serve as a resource person in regard to invigilator related inquiries.
Qualifications:
A two-year post secondary diploma isa requirement,supplemented with two years increasingly responsible clerical and/or customer service experience. An equivalent combination may be considered. Experience in an educational environment would be an asset.
Knowledge of data entry and retrieval operations in a computerized information system such as Banner would be an asset.
Knowledge of the internet and basic information search procedures.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and to set one's own priorities in an environment with changing and complex policies and procedures.
