Overview

The Exam Invigilator supervises in-person accommodated exams for students with disabilities/medical conditions following established practices and ensures students adhere to relevant University regulations/policies. The position is an hourly paid, part-time/casual position including evenings and weekends. Training will be provided.


Responsibilities

Maintain a high level of confidentiality. Prepare the exam space (including computer/assistive technology). Uphold all University Exam Regulations throughout the exam. Ensure the academic integrity for all exams and follow procedures to address any suspected and/or confirmed cheating incidents. Verify student identification. Monitor students during the writing of exams. Address any student questions/concerns. Communicate accurately with University students, faculty & staff. Document anomalies/irregularities. Submit and collect exams.

Qualifications


------------------


Knowledge of computer software including adaptive technology is preferred. Familiarity with Zoom video conferencing platform. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Excellent organizational skills. Detail orientated. Excellent time keeping. Strong interpersonal and communication skills in handling a range of situations which may include complex, sensitive and confidential issues. Ability to work as part of a team. Reliable, flexible approach to hours/periods of work. Experience working with students at the post-secondary level or secondary school is preferred.
