Commercial Truck Equipment, part of the Commercial Group of Companies, is looking to grow its Calgary service team by bringing on another
EVT - Emergency Vehicle Technician
at our modern, full-service facility.
A current EVT, Automotive, or Heavy-Duty Mechanic with an interest in emergency apparatus would be perfect for this role and Commercial will provide training and product familiarization to the right candidate.
Commercial EVTs support and service the apparatus we sell -- Pierce Manufacturing, Oshkosh Airport Products, BME Fire Trucks, and MaxiMetal -- as well as maintain apparatus from other manufacturers to keep local fire departments operating safely and effectively.
Reporting to the Service Manager, the right individual will be a self-starter with strong organizational skills, capable of working independently while thriving in a team environment.
Employees who succeed in this role come from diverse mechanical backgrounds -- automotive, heavy truck, or equipment -- but share key traits: curiosity, accountability, problem-solving ability, and professionalism. They're technically sharp and communicate clearly with clients, manufacturers, and internal teams.
We encourage all candidates with direct or adjacent knowledge and interest in emergency vehicle systems to apply.
