About Our ClientOur client, located in Toronto, is an exciting & dynamic event management company and looking for an Events/Project Manager to join their team.Responsibilities

• Overseeing all areas of events/projects assigned to your portfolio
• Managing stakeholder relationships with cross-functional, internal teams, as well as external vendor partners
• Ensuring all documentation is consistently aligned with company standards and industry best practice
• Developing and managing project budgets, including purchase orders, estimates, rate cards, etc.
• Monitor the financial health of the project and work closely with the Finance Department to ensure all information is up to date, accurate and follows the required procedures to allow timely financial reporting and invoicing
• Ensuring details of deliverables and project schedule have been documented and clearly communicated to all stakeholders and members of the project team
• Working collaboratively with Project Director and team of internal Project Managers
• Ad hoc tasks as needed

• Minimum 5 years experience working as an Event Manager, Event Producer or as a Project Manager
• Experience working on live events in a management capacity is strongly preferred
• Experience managing large project teams and overseeing cross-functional relationships (internally and externally)
• University Degree or College Diploma or equitable live experience required
• Project Management Professional (PMP) designation an asset
• Willingness and ability to travel, as required based on project needs
