Equipment World's Tents and Events division is looking for a reliable and motivated

Event Team - Truck Operator

to assist with event setups and equipment rentals. This role involves delivering and setting up tents and rental equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities:

Safely drive a truck to and from customer sites. Provide direction and delegate duties to crew members as needed. Assist with the setup and takedown of tents and rental equipment. Maintain and perform basic repairs on tents and party equipment. Ensure rental products are prepared, delivered, and set up accurately and on time. Load and unload rental products and equipment. Complete pre-delivery and post-rental inspections using inspection forms. Address customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service. Solve problems that arise during event setup and operations. Follow all safety policies and procedures. Work collaboratively as part of a team to contribute to the success of the company.

Working Conditions:

Primarily working outdoors in various weather conditions. May require work outside regular business hours, depending on event needs. Travel to client sites in and around Thunder Bay as required. Moderate to heavy lifting involved. Long periods of sitting while driving.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Must have a

valid full G driver's license

with a

clear driver's abstract

(must be insurable). Reliable, well-organized, and able to multitask under tight deadlines. Adaptable to changing schedules and requirements. Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude. Prior experience in event setup, trucking, or equipment rentals is an asset.
