Position Overview:

We are currently hiring

Event Security Guards

to support our upcoming event Roots & Blues in the Salmon Arm. As part of our team, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure, safe, and enjoyable environment for all attendees.

Responsibilities:

Manage entry points and ensure authorized access at event venues Assist with crowd management to maintain a smooth and safe flow of guests Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies in a calm and professional manner Provide exceptional customer service to attendees, vendors, and staff Follow event security protocols and instructions from supervisors

Qualifications:

Previous security experience preferred, but not required Ability to remain alert and professional in fast-paced environments Physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Mandatory Licenses and Preferred Certifications:

Valid Security Guard License

(Required)

Crowd Management Training

(Preferred)

OFA Level 1 First Aid

(Preferred)

Important Details:

No Overtime available. No Accommodations provided. Food will be provided on request. (Food charges will be deducted from paystub). We wont extend the break if they have to drive long for that. (We suggest to bring packed lunch/dinner just in case).
