for Event Chefs:

  • Finalizing dishes second company guidelines
  • Use and knowledge of all kitchen equipment including coal barbecue.
  • Supervise the work of line cooks to ensure that all given tasks are completed on time
  • Ensure that all cook stations are adequately stocked with the necessary meal ingredients and equipment.
  • Ensure that all stations and kitchen surfaces are cleaned and sanitized before and after each shift.
  • Adhere to standard food rotation practices to reduce food wastage and minimize the risk of contamination.
  • Assess the quality of delivered food supplies to ensure that it meets standards of Parlato\xe2\x80\x99s Catering
  • Minimum Hours booked 4 Hours + tips
Event Chef Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Presentation/plating skills
  • Bringing your own tools for work .
  • Bachelor\'s or associate\'s degree in culinary arts is advantageous.
  • Proven cooking experience.
  • A food handler\'s license
  • Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations.
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skill
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Event Chef Job Procedure:
  • Should get to the location in time.
  • When food arrives at the location, off load food with help from other team members
  • Food should be stored in the specified area at the location to ensure safety
  • Double check if all the food is received in accordance with the menu.(If not, call the head chef to organize missing food).
  • Check if you have all the equipment to do your job.
  • Clean as you go and practice good hygiene, wash your hands and always wear gloves .
  • Coordinate with the service staff and stick to the event times specified for service, clean up and take down.
  • Finalizing the dishes of the event second Parlato\xe2\x80\x99s food Guideline
  • Coordinate other kitchen staff in order to deliver in time dishes & excellent presentation
  • Available to work on different locations
