Ubisoft Toronto is one of the largest development studios within Ubisoft, employing talented developers from around the world. On being an Events and Internal Communications Intern at Ubisoft Toronto
In this role, you will be reporting to the Events Manager, the Events and Internal Communications Intern will support the Communications team in planning and executing internal and external events with care, creativity and excellence. You will act as a liaison between our trusted vendors/partners and the Events team to help facilitate digital events, swag mailouts and assist with devising and executing events programming for the studio. Type of Position: Full-time, paid internship
Length of internship: 4 months
Start Time: Fall 2022
Location: Toronto - Hybrid (Remote & In-Studio), must reside in Ontario
Eligibility: This position is ONLY available for Ontario students who are seeking a co-op or internship position as part of their studies. Applicants cannot be graduated nor graduating BEFORE December 2023.
The daily life of an Events and Internal Communications Intern at Ubisoft Toronto

  • Researching concepts, vendors, swag, digital event tools and providing recommendations to the team
  • Help arrange employee milestone celebrations & service awards
  • Assisting with the development of event plans, budgets, work-backs and deliverables
  • Arranging deliveries and coordinating with vendors
  • Tracking invoices and payments
  • Assisting with set-up & scheduling of tech checks + live events
  • Supporting set-up & tear down of in person events
  • Collaborating in the development and communication of event materials with the Communications, Creative Services, and other studio teams
  • Assistance with live event streaming + digital event support
  • Create and develop innovative and authentic content
  • Assist with writing and creating content for our internal communications channels.
  • Research new tools and tactics to continually enhance and improve our internal communications efforts
  • Support internal communications team with other projects as needed – e.g. preparing studio spokespeople, digital events planning and execution
  • Actively participate in weekly meetings with the communications team
  • Put together and review project post-mortem reports to continuously improve our efforts
